when time

when time

A Poem by Circe

when our time together
has blurred into a ragged
snapshot of silent
dreaming,
i'll still remember the
amber lights
soft on burning skin-
the seafoam in your
eyes, sparkly.
reflective, licking
a sad smooth face,

in case we never met
and perfect is an illusion
i am not drifting
to empty spaces,
when your kisses
slow and heated
have me fully in the now & forever.
