smiling beings

smiling beings

A Poem by Circe

i blew
bubbles
underwater
on your white
rolling
belly

rained
a million
starry mad
kisses all
over your
eyebrows,
ears,
nose,
ribs,
legs,
and wriggly
toes

your giggles
are my every
breath

and we slept
with me holding
your hand

undisturbed

afternoon
bliss

This really is a delight, you have made an old bloke smile and chuckle his way through a cold, wet and grey English Thursday in March, what more could I ask? Cheers, N

This made me think of my son ☺ I especially enjoyed the imagary of bubbles on a "white rolling belly." At the same moment, it brings to mind the image of blowing "raspberries" on a tiny tummy as well as the image of bubbles created by white rolling waves of the ocean. Truly love this!
