Behind The glass

Today I looked In the Mirror

Who did I see?

I’ll give you a hint

We can say it was me

Beneath layers of makeup

Under the mask

My true self hides

Reveled behind the glass

Sometimes my best friend

Sometimes Mortal foe

It speaks of things

I want no one to know

You can shatter the glass

But not the face

The truth is simply

Not that easy to erase
