A Poem by Clare Jaycee

Home is just four letters,

Much the same as love,

You cant make it where its not,

And you can’t build it without foundation.

You home must withstand the weather,

And sometimes the branches of your family tree,

Are not strong enough to shelter you,

From the raging storm.

Your home is the lighthouse,

when the waves crash upon the rocks,

it is the warmth from the cold,

it is comfort when the world is hard.

It is those you need

to make you feel alive again.

And when the storm rages,

and your heart hurts,

there they will be,

with the ever changing tide.

Wherever you are wanted,

Wherever you are needed,

Wherever you are loved,

Is wherever you are home.
