It's my fault

It's my fault

A Poem by Eleanor

Why?

Am I such idiot?

Why?

Couldn't I see?

That you were always there

It's my fault

Your gone

If I had only listened

No

Better yet

If I got out of my little dream world

I would have seen

You were waiting

For me

To see

That you loved me

And that you could love me more

Than he ever could

It's my fault

Your in the ground

It's my fault

You died so young

I'm so sorry

You could have done so much

WIth your life

If I had the chance

I would switch places with you

You deserve to be alive

To be able to laugh

To feel the sun on your skin

Not me

Such a powerful & emotional read.
Sorry about this. Well expressed.

Terribly emotional yet I find myself loving the raw feelings you have conveyed. I honestly wondered if this was a personal piece that you had to get off your chest or not, but the beauty of it all is in mystery I suppose.... well done, hon. Very good
