Dalliance

Dalliance

A Poem by Cloud Cukkoo

Though his marriage’s counting three

To stay the night is easy for me

No one sees him through closed doors

They won’t hear him ask for more

Despite the team he said they were

He went to me instead of her

No one sees him through closed doors

They won’t hear him ask for more

Yet he doesn’t know ‘bout what I got in store

I’m gonna love the guilt out of you tonight
Leave the curtains open, I don’t mind

Cause the clothes on the stairs are for her to find

It’s alright

You’re the dirt, and I’m the mind

Will hold you down, and leave you behind

And all your rules will turn to dust

When you ask for a little bit of thrust

No one sees him through closed doors

They won’t hear him ask for more

I’m gonna love the guilt out of you tonight

Leave the curtains open, I don’t mind

Cause the clothes on the stairs are for her to find

It’s alright

I’m gonna suck the guilt out of you tonight

Open the windows baby, welcome the night

Cause my world will flourish and yours will die

It’s alright, alright

It’s alright, alright

Yeah my world will flourish and yours will die

It’s alright
