Hecate's Spell

Hecate's Spell

A Poem by Mason Rayburn

Witches fire
Witches brew
Eye of newt
For the stew
Fire kindle
Fire spew
Macbeth we have it
Out for you
Bring a wind
Bring a storm
Bring an opponent
In a manly form
His name is Macduff
So it shall be
That this very man
Doth smite thee
Meet your end
With valor and grace
We know the mask
Upon your face
It cannot hide
The beast inside
Now pay for the high crime
Of regicide
