The Beast

The Beast

A Poem by Mason Rayburn

There are no sufficient words to express
These dangerous feelings I've had to repress.
A murderous beast lays dormant within me,
With an insane desire to be set free.
How he longs to assume control,
Then my feelings would take their toll.
The rapists would tremble at the thought
It was their blood this creature sought.
All the women could rest in peace
Knowing they were protected by this beast.
He wouldn't stop until it was done.
This war against rapists had finally been won.
The beast would only be quelled
Once in their grave the rapists dwelled.
Their spirits could now burn forever in Hell.
And I would bid them farewell, farewell.
