Confounded

Confounded

A Poem by Colby
"

Amazed and abused by her

"

Glowing blue eyes

And flowing blonde hair

I’m at a loss for words

And gasping for air

Soft smooth skin

And a scent that’s stupendous

Recklessly dumbfounded

And caught up in this

Stricken with disease

My heart black and impure

My sickness is from you

Yet you are the only cure

Hashbrown thoughts

Scattered across my brain

Can’t seem to think

Am I going insane

Completely reckless

Desperate for you

Extensively lost

I know not what to do

You've got it bad! It's a good thing though, since your feelings prompted this incredible poem. Your words portray perfectly some of the feelings we have from a new, special love! Excellent !

can I say that I feel what you mean exactly?
Aside from that, I love the rhythms, it gives it a fast-paced, almost confusing (which fits) feel that just adds something to the words themselves.
Great job!
