midnight widow

midnight widow

A Poem by Daniel Atkinson
"

keep living, widow.

"
dry your tears, midnight widow.
as hard as it may seem,
smile--
it is within gilded halls
and feathered clouds
your heart now rests.

Author's Note

Daniel Atkinson
Kind of a contradiction of my usual stance on religion. I felt like writing a hopeful piece for once.
