WORRY!

WORRY!

By Stanley Collymore

We all of us inevitably worry
about something or other
that seemingly, we think
or even seriously we very easily
conclude, will rather adversely
inevitably affect our personal
life exclusively. Naturally, too,
sometimes, this assumption
is based on rational; logical;
financial or usually medical
deductions. Never the less,
the unpredictably resultant
but naturally only outcome
simply bearing in mind our
own, distinct personalities
is never literally the same.

Author's Remarks:
Worry - a state of mind that engenders in that specific individual a perceived reason to feel or cause to feel anxious or troubled about actual or potential problems. Perfectly understandable if these triggers of individual worry are real; but alas in multiple cases there are not and are just figments of that person’s vivid, fanciful or even disturbed, delusional and evidently malicious thinking. Eleanor Williams the 22 year old woman jailed this week for eight and a half years, after a jury found her guilty on several charges of perverting the course of justice, falls clearly into the latter category.

So how does one deal with such behaviour by other people or even that of yourself, sparked by a craven need after attention seeking? Your problem, alas, and it would be beneficially not only for yourself but both your community and the wider reaches of society if you truthfully learnt and inculcated the requite format for creating a productive life for yourself.

Since failure to do so invariably results in the odious racist Karens, other haters and toxically verminous individuals that not only infest but are distinctively a huge danger to decent humanity.

An interesting read but the semantics in the ending sounded very much like the pot calling the kettle black. Calling other human beings "toxically verminous" while one pontificates that they themselves are of the "decent" sort is about as condescending and hateful a viewpoint as one might aspire to attain. The advice of Jesus was "Do not worry about your life..." Matthew 6:25 But Jesus did some serious praying in the garden at Gethsemane according to the Bible. I believe there's a time to worry if that worry produces action towards addressing an immediate issue. There's a time for fear, just the same. They are survival impulses, the same as pain is useful in letting the body know something just isn't right. Soldiers are often lauded as "heroes" for their "bravery". But being in a foxhole and having people shoot at you is a rather strong incentive to shoot back. Walking out of the foxhole to confront the enemy isn't bravery. That's stupidity and suicide. So, while I agree that worry and fear may not be of help, in and of themselves, in a given situation, I can certainly see where they might also be beneficial to personal survival. It's all about perspective.
