Daddy, what's the 'ARMY'?

Daddy, what's a gun?

Daddy, will you hold me?

Let's go have some fun

Daddy, where you going?

Daddy, what's 'overseas'?

Daddy come home tomorrow

Daddy, come home please.

Mommy, where is Daddy?

Mommy, where's he been?

Mommy, when will Daddy

Come home to us again?

.

Mommy, why you crying?

Mommy what is wrong?

Mommy, what is 'dying'?

Will Daddy be gone long?

There are many perspectives to consider regarding the topic of war. Here is the perspective from a child who's daddy is a soldier, just before the reality sets in that daddy isn't coming home.
