This is A Poem That I Turned Into A Song With A Band Because I'm a Semi-Pro Lyricist and It Just Struck Me To the Core As A TRUE Opinion Of What High School Really Is...Just Try and Relate and You Might Like It

The freedom we’re given
You gotta earn
But in order to attain it
You gotta learn
The uncountable years
Of confusion and stress
All seems for nothing
Just leads to your mess
You run to adulthood
Then crawl for the rest
Count the troubles alive
The expected pest
Still one thing is said
Above all the rest
That of all the years
The teenage is best!

The retarded surround
The call of their crew
With no f****n idea
What they wanna do
A one track mind
The pressure of sex
No couple aloud
Just move to the next
the system is flawed
You fall with straight F’s
The teacher’s advise
But the parents obsess
Still one thing is said
Above all the rest
That of all the years
The teenage is best!

Graduation today
The coffin of fun
Penitentiary transfer
But I am not done
What lies ahead
May crash and burn
Will your friend succeed
That’s not you're concern
The final ride
Look back great pride
But you’ll never be sure
Of all you had to endure
Still one thing is said
Above all the rest
That of all the years
The teenage is missed!
