![]() Just Thinking...A Poem by Cass Ashe![]() Something to consider that might help our perspectives. They can get narrow and we don't even notice it.![]()
It's almost humorous to think the amount of people to notice something,
Twenty to thirty on a good day, on the off chance reaching a hundred. So much of everything goes passing by and we don't care to notice. We forget exactly where everything comes from when we see these words. No matter how impassioned they might be, or just how dull, They have a significance to the one who wrote it. So when you read and see things all over the internet, Or in a letter sent by a distant relative you've met once, Think about the person on the other side for a second. What does their message say about the way they feel? I'm a dude wearing moose pajama pants at midnight, writing. What do you see around you right now as you read this? About seven billion people could have this thought, But maybe only 10 will who end up reading this, Some scanning along to pass the time idly, Others browsing around for the next good read With the rest just looking to exchange a few reviews And there's nothing wrong with any of that because we all live differently. I'm likely to get no responses at all from this long rant But I expect nothing more because this is just a random tangent. I was never trying to tell people how to live their lives Except to look around once in their long days and think about others, About the seven billion others, or just the people who wrote what the read. It's a little meta but that's the fun of it.
