Enrapturing and mysteriously

Enrapturing and mysteriously

A Poem by Cass Ashe

Enrapturing and mysteriously,

Her lone existence bears constant witness

To everything unceremoniously,

As she alone sees life without glibness.

She watches rhythmically, like poetry

Persists throughout the day’s solemn passage

Unbeknownst to my single lifelong plea

So long as her mind feels naught but presage.

The task to turn her head or tilt an ear

Is the sole duty of the ignorant,

Whose privy world exists without her drear,

For when forgotten, she is celebrant.

I would step to meet her, had I not pride,

But when we meet is not mine to decide.

There is no lasting definition of me, as I am endlessly seeking to grow and change as a person, but feel free to call me whatever you desire, as my pen name is only that- a pen name. My poetry is a re.. more..
