Enslaving Stories

Enslaving Stories

A Poem by DwellerComplex
"

Stories...

"

Licking wax from glowing white.

Fluttering pages of waning light.

Every candle one by one,

burns down slowly, tale is done.

Dancing shadows in ignore.

Voiceless faces in galore.

Countless lives of foes and friends.

Clashing threads from puppeteer.

Turn to gray as story ends.

Fade away and disappear.

Yet in mind the threads are long.

Yet in mind the threads are strong.

Enslaving stories, they live on.

Still learning. Tried writing with good flow when reading. Tell me what you think.
Second poem. Yay! :)
