A Poem by FoReHeAd IMprEgNaBle

This mind

Far and distant

Quiet like the eyes of the cricket

Peering through the thicket

Soars across the neighborhood

Once showered with teepees

and torch lights

Not street lights.

To a time when whiskey ridden antics

were intercepted

by the winds of a people

not by sirens.

and broken systems.
