Etude IV

Etude IV

A Poem by Moi
"

Short, but sweet?

"

You emerge like a refrain.
I distinguish you from the echoes
but don’t rescue you from them.

Persons in memory are like this.
Especially you, if I pluck you from

the bed of this dust, if I prop you up

you could become anything to me,
again. This is the fear, this is the cause
for drive-by reminiscence.

hm.... you did. you did. this was written from the heart, it is not a non-sense, I waas knocked sideways by the breathtaking ambition of the poem and the range of richness and a musical intelligence between a song and love to a woman, what a play. I loved "You emerge like a refrain."

Especially you, if I pluck you from
