Night Sky Calms

Night Sky Calms

A Poem by Corrupted Rose

There's this emptiness inside of me
It can never be conquered
At first glance I assumed it was my broken heart
Pieces are getting taped back together...
Yet even this new man can't do anything
People I loved...
Became people I knew
People I knew became strangers
So, I feel torn
Shredded into tiny pieces
Blowing in the wind...
Landing in different places to never be noticed
To never be touched
No compassion
Has this world forsaken me...?
The night sky quickly calms and there's silence...
In that moment I knew that I received my answer
