Blue Tie

Blue Tie

A Poem by Corset

Blue Tie Special

Summer is not lost
but merely sleeping
She says it's in the sunshine
rippled stones and dimpled lakes
She's Acorn classy but
Pinecone aliterate
a little bit of luxury
and his hands start shaking
she holds the key to the eyes
window core
he wants to let go
live simpleton
but what he has
is a blue tie and cognac
sending love from the great divide
it drowns out the radio along with her fashion jewelry
lifts her legs
like a Tennesse Walking horse

horseback is the only way to go

her entire life side screams in pain
like a dying turtle under the stick
stuck in hotels riddled with a middle sense
preheating dreams on hot plates
a wastewater special waiting endlessly
with her legs crossed
sitting sideways on the bed.

It must be in the sunshine.

I loved the complete poem dear Corset.
he wants to let go
live simpleton
"but what he has
is a blue tie and cognac
sending love from the great divide
it drowns out the radio along with her fashion jewelry
lifts her legs
like a Tennesse Walking horse"
The above lines made me wish to know and read more. The poem gave a taste of a thought. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.
