Bubbe Meyses

A Poem by Corset
"

http://www.zeek.net/802vinokur/ birds and fish do not sweat sir, are they Gods? perhaps...? Not everything sweats and not everything that does sweat make them human.

"
When we have something to hide,
it can make us blind let our minds be at ease.
Let's try not to chirp so much.

Why constantly talk ourselves out of opportunities
that have never presented themselves.

It might be a setup, but I don't mind being a
little blind-sided, everything is a little more
beautiful when slightly out of focus.

The people knew Roth from Babel they
look exactly alike covered in sweat, however
I beg to differ.

Fish do not sweat, so not EVERYTHING sweats
and if you ask any female, they do not sweat
either but merely glisten.

Judging the basis of the truth of deity incarnation into flesh
based on the activity of human pores is a weak argument
(were this the case, then any blowfish may as well be a God.)
even as a Dome and Phallus symbol would make an Apolo out
of sitting presidents.

Unless perhaps you believe it would, then in that case,
which of us can know for sure?
Could black holes be the veins of the body of God
and we,
(Who's in Whoville)  floating upon a rogue cell just waiting to attack anything that comes into our vicinity like cancer in the black matter
 blood of God (including ourselves?)

Well, they do say anything is possible through God, don't they?
(But who are THEY that say?)
Humans that sweat.

"black holes the veins of God"? what a great line and something to ponder for sure.
and Fish sweat, we wouldn't know anyway...it's all water...

we do scare ourselves with our own possibilities...and then, unfortunately, we shy away from going for them.
love this write...so much excellent philosophy posed to the reader.

This is so layered with meaning and wonderfully written lines, I'm going to have to come back and peruse this more.
Suffice to say at the moment I am truly impressed with the whole.
