What Good is a Day...?

What good is a day...
if the sun doesn't shine,
the moon never breaks the clouds,
and the wind doesn't ruffle my hair?
What good is a day...
if the birds never sing,
the bee doesn't buzz,
and the ravens don't caw?

Not bad. You have a good concept but I think you could expand it more - this would be a good beginning stanza for a longer piece, but as it is, it can't really stand on its own.

That is what I thought, but I post even unfinished work so I can get an idea of what I might need to add. It felt unfinished when I posted it, and it a much older piece that I had not yet posted. Thank you! :)
