How I Long for You

How I Long for You

A Poem by PoetessKrys

When you long for that someone...

Lasting night
holding tight
onto the phantom of you.

Tossing right
blinding light
and the sun burns in my view.

Dragging days
comforting ways
longing to be in your arms.

Distance knows
desire grows
and I yearn to see your charms.

Seeing now
solemn vow
I wish to envelop you.

Question here
answer dear
will your love be right and true?
