My Love Song... </3

My Love Song... A Poem by G. Anderson
"

A last, hollow tinkle so shallow; Of fragments of heart, fallen to shadow.

"
As my life has progressed, I've always thought of certain feelings to be my background music.
The song is always there, taunting, insane,
and will continue to be there.
My love song has been there to reminisce with me,
to help share my hurt and grief.
Hence, My Love Song.
~Gage

Sad, slow, and bittersweet.
My heart-wrenching threnody.
Deep, vibrating, and scared.
The friend of a pall-bearer.

Mournful, ripped, and torn.
A single, silent, bloody thorn.
Claimed by one, but many's creation.
The brave but grievious tune of desparation.

My heart, you've tricked it.
Its song of terror, you've inflicted.
The screeches of agony, make up
The excruciating melody.

Creeking of slabs of ice, the
Twang of cherished fibers as they splice.
A last, hollow tinkle so shallow;
Of fragments of heart, fallen to shadow.

My love song isn't like others.
It's piercing and keen, it kills and smothers.

This is powerfully moving.. filled with a darkness and pain... Your word choice is richly woven through each line, the somber, sometimes screeching music flowing, full and loud. Amazing write.
