FEAR AND DARKNESS

FEAR AND DARKNESS

A Poem by Coyote Song

Dark patterns confusing
Drifting lazy in the air
Passing before my eyes

I hear the heated breath
Wet panting
Hungers and nothing left

Black dots and lines
Eyes that bleed with appetites
Needing flesh and blood

I ask myself
As the shapes become danger
Is it too late to run?

It is very good. I like the occasional horror poem and this one is very unique. I would definately run from that danger. Nicely done.

Thanks very much. :)
Nice job on this horror. The fear and confusion comes through powerfully until you realize you are, indeed, in danger. Very very well done! I enjoyed reading your poem.
