Picture a painting,
A portrait of love, honesty and trust.
A scene without, hatred, lies
Or lust.
As real as may seem,
It’s only but,an artists
Dream.

Thought the 'Gambler was good also, an analogy on love, life etc.

Not sure about 'Jackob'. I understand the feelings involved, but it is a little bit too sentimental for me. Doesn't make it good or bad, just not to my taste. (If we all liked the same thing, the world would be boring.)

Hi there!
its odd you mentioned the poem about my son, Jakob.
for some reason, i find it difficult to write about two people , I love and adore most in the world!
it always ends up coming off as " Textbook Sentimental".
