One Moment

Here, take a trip to corny town with me.

Learning how to write took years,

Writing every letter down until my fingers were left broken.

In the process of learning how to speak,

So many days until intelligent sentences were spoken.

Counting every stroke through water,

It took to become a swimmer.

Every book I read for my career,

Every minute spent studying to become a winner.

All the years, days and hours,

Learning and acheiving what humans do,

And yet, it only took a moment,

To fall in love with you...
