Milk and Honey

Milk and Honey

A Poem by CrimsonHints
"

A religious poem of mine.

"
Where is the land of milk and honey?
For now the land is laid upon thorns.
What once was a paradise for all,
Is now ruled over by an angel with horns.

Trumpets sound and stars quiver,
As every battle cry pierces the clouds.
Balls of light rain like shrapnel,
And destroy unholy ground.

The angel's wings are severed,
And thrown into the darkness.
His horns are ground to ashes,
And scattered into the abyss.

Where is the land of milk and honey?
For now the land is laid to waste.
We only must wait with patience,
And we will have our taste.
