Destiny

Destiny

A Poem by CrimsonHints

Some people believe in destiny.
Every star, now faded and gone,
Was meant to be.

They might believe,
Every hand held and every heart broken,
Is on the pages of a book already written.

They believe,
All random acts aren't random at all;
That everything is destined no matter how big or small.

They believe,
You can't change this no matter how hard you try.
Your attempts are simply part of that line.

This belief,
Shows exactly what meant-to-be's are.
Your first kiss, all of your scars.

But some people,
Simply have the wrong thoughts on life.
Destined to be alone, just doesn't sound right.

But if it is destiny that keeps me in the dark,
I'll ignore its' definition firmly.
Not ask why it curses me-

Continue on believing in,
The possibility to fall in love again.
