Songs Collide

Songs Collide

A Poem by CrimsonHints

Songs collide,
In the wind,
In my eyes;
As sailor's dance,
For chance,
And life.

As here I sit,
In this dark pit,
Waiting for the sun to rise.

As my heart,
It hurts,
My knees,
In dirt;
Slipping to,
My deadline.

With a dandelion,
In shallow sand;
The heart to move,
But no will to stand,
My undermine.

Count the seconds,
Of the sun;
Watch it fall,
Night's begun,
My time.

Songs collide,
In the wind,
In my eyes;

And my heart,
It's gone;
As I sit,
In sunrise...
