From The Keep

From The Keep

A Poem by CrimsonHints

The waves roll and tumble,
To the shore and from the deep.
Arrows fire through the thunder,
Over stone walls and from the keep.

Red eyes in smoke and fire,
Take away my dreams in sleep.
Through these nights, I do tire,
Hearing mothers and children weep.

Lakes and rivers turn to steam.
Mountains roar and fall.
Many would say it's just a dream,
But, I know better than them all.

The waves roll and tumble,
To the shore and from the deep.
Can you hear armageddon's rumble?
For it's desolation we do reap.
