Porcelain

Porcelain

A Poem by CrimsonHints

Porcelain doll with glistening cheeks;
White lips and light grey eyes.
Small snow hands to bring to his mouth,
To cover his porcelain cries.

Take a blue cotton blanket,
And cover his broken porcelain dreams.
Take his ripped cotton jacket,
And gather together the seams.

Hide his small porcelain feet;
Shattered and smashed all apart.
His chest is fissured and cracked,
Hiding his small porcelain heart.
