Burning Love

Burning Love

A Poem by Crimson

A poem of everlasting Love

Burning Love

The fire burns deeply in my heart,
The souls of two never apart
We become one with the flames of love
Wrapped up in each other like a glove
Full of warmth and comfort and life
Waiting for the day you become my wife.
Loving your touch and your smile
Wishing you could stay awhile
Light lingers from the fire
My love is stuck on a high wire
Wishing that we could always be
Free like the wind like the log of a tree
Wanting to feel the warmth of that flame
Knowing that your love is not a game
Flames flicker to and fro
And there is something that I know
You’re the one I have been waiting to see
You’re the one who completes me
While the fire burns deeply in my heart
The souls of us will never part
We have become one with the flames of love
Immortalized in the Heavens above,
Love me tender, and love me deep
Just remember, my soul is yours to keep.

This is very sweet and you show your love for her very well. I enjoyed reading this, and the end worked very well to wrap everything up. Good job!
