After a short walk

After a short walk

A Poem by Crosby Idasa

After a short walk out yesterday, He had to take a deep breath and his eyes was on the road... the motives of that walk was just to stretch his mind and give him views to smile to! He sat down just at a bench beside a super shop at clicter Estate , staring at the movement of every attractive phenomenon that crosses that road
He was sipping his water, listening to good music and his sight was just at one very point this time around, he concentrated at just that place... then the next incident was just so strange, nobody  believed it, even moving cars had to slow down, hold break and watch!
He tried to act as if he didn't see any of those stuffs, the beautiful lady was barely known, she do not recognize herself, she couldn't even say her name, she was confuse, she was naked, shouting and crying
Passerby were trying to interact with her but she was lost of words, tears were dripping down her eyes like a raining day, the only thing she was able to say was where am I? They were asking her where are you from, do you have a contact we can call right away
But she replied, No....she shouted that she was taken down here by a car, she saw herself down in a bush at first, after that moment she was quiet...
Another passerby replied and said to her to please continue
And she said, I lost my memory, I can't even describe what happened to me, What should I do? is like I'm hypmotized, her eyes where reddish and she was crying,  barely naked with just her black bra and her black g-string, her beautiful smiles were still not hidden in her painful looks
She kept asking again and again, where is this please... And somebody answered her that she is at the eastwest road in Port Harcourt, that they saw her walking naked with just her underwear and she was screaming and causing shock...
Another Madam, a passerby Had to take off a pair of her traditional wrapper, like it is called in Nigeria, it was used to cover the nakedness of the girl.  she was calmed and ask to sit down, she was given meat pie with a bottle of Apple drink to quench her hunger but that wasn't enough until she was given water!
She looked at everybody and said that is all she could remember

I am wondering if this is a true story but then I am sure it has happened time and again somewhere, sometime. How sad and painful it would have been. Thank goodness for the Good Samaritans who were standing by. It reminds us that there are still good people out there.
