Life & Death

Life & Death

A Poem by Crow
"

The Truth behind the lie

"
Life stares at Its work and creations, listening to the birds sing and chirp.

Death stares at Its work. People killing people. Animals hunting humans. Watching the life in mortal's eyes Die out.

"Death, why do mortals love me but hate you?" Life asks.

"Because Mortals accuse you of being the peaceful Lie while accusing me of being the agonizing Truth." Death responds.

"But that's wrong, isn't it Death? You were created so Mortals could escape the agonizing Truth of Life."

Wow, I love this. It really spoke to me. We often hide from the truth and are afraid to honestly look at life for what it is. Death is sad but it does provide a peace that living can not. I love how in your poem life and death are having a conversation. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. < 3

Very nice! I like this one even more than the last. Very clever insight in the simplicity of your questions and answers (once again) but this piece seems more polished and has a lot of depth to it as well. Great job.

I like this. But I might suggest replacing "her/his" with "it" Makes it much easier to read. You want people to read with enjoyment, not stumble over obstacles.
