That Feeling

That Feeling

A Poem by Crystal Frampton

Talking to you was pretty destructive,
We spoke from good morning to good night,
And then we said nothing at all,
I chocked on the words that were stuck in my throat,
We always spoke about the loneliest feeling in the world,
Suddenly we're drowning in this feeling,
And we're trying to remember what it felt like to breathe.

Thank you,
c.
Nice poem, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Its simplicity is its excellence. So much emotion packed into such a small package, and I really felt it. I minor spelling mistake, though I am sure you already saw it. Choked. Beautiful imagery, thank you for sharing! I am going to read through your other poems too, if you don't mind.
