I Hate the Fact

I Hate the Fact

A Poem by Crystal Frampton

It's no secret I'm stuck in love,
Even when I try, nothing can conceal my feelings,
I wanted to be the girl who made your bad day better,
I wanted to be the one who brightened your day,
I wanted to be the drug in your veins,
The beat in your heart,
I wanted to be part of you because I hate the fact you became part of me; part of my mind.

reminds me a bit of the poem Julia Stiles wrote for Heath Ledger in "ten things i hate about you"

even when we don't want to love, we have no choice...it just happens...those are feelings we can't corral and we can't dictate or conceal as you said..

especially like the 5th and 6th lines....the metaphor there.
