What He Wants

This is the world we live in today

In two thousand years, nothing has changed

I do look to god for guidance, for love

yet I see others falsely looking above

The good book says to no man bow down

but everyone tips their heads to the one with the crown

Why do we go to a place to learn hate,

bigotry and violence 

I think this is a mistake

Whoever it is that made this beautiful place

Would not want us to destroy it

trying to take his place

to sit down with others who think just like you

discussing the problems and what we can do

they call that a cult and deem it untrue

but to sit down and listen to what the preacher man spouts

considered the only way to go about

no where in the book does it say this is true.

The way that you think,

this is not wrong

stand for your beliefs,

hold on to them strong

but ask if what you think is really you

or do you just believe what they tell you to?
