Fragile

Fragile

A Poem by Cucumberlime

Shut me down
Build me up.
Throw it all back in my face.
Mistakes you've made,
There is no escape.
In jagged shreds my heart beats,
It is always me that you defeat.
I bare my soul,
Acceptance is all I ask
Book of lies I have devoured,
The author you.
Did I fill the pages with expectations,
or was it you who fed me the false reality of who you are.
Careful, I am fragile.
Already cracked and about to shatter.
