The Eternal Queen

The Eternal Queen

A Poem by Rose Hagerty

Crimson blood
Like rotten wine
Pearly white teeth as sharp as glass
Baby blue eyes that pierce the soul
With locks as dark as coal
Skin so white it is ice cold to the touch
Beauty of a goddess, but putrid to the core
Older than all that has walked this earth
With a soul darker than her clothes
Fire, cross, and holy water should bring her end
So she can never rise again.
