Life Flows

Life Flows

A Poem by D.Truelove
"

Something that came to me during tough times.

"
Life can't
Life won't fit in our little box
The best laid plans
Are always the first to fold

It's cold
But not a reason to cry
First you fall
To see how high you can fly

I'm not abandoning you, girl
I'm just letting you free
Letting you go right where I know
You really want to be

And if the world ever gets too cold
Or you just tire of the lonely road
Just come on back
You know where to find me

Life fights
Can't fit this little box we made
But it keeps going on
No rest till we're in the grave

No room for regret
No room for what if
No time to waste
There is only this

Listen close to that feeling
Buried deep down inside
I can't promise things wont get hard
Or that you'll never cry

But if you follow your heart
I can promise it'll never be a mistake
Wipe your eyes, girl
Its your life to make

This comes across as a motivational speech.
It is a nice write non-the-less. Focusing on
the message, as opposed to the imagery to
be created, by the girl in this case, in the life
that is "hers to make".

Well done.
