TRICK OR TREAT

Garments, meant to cover.

Persons make it improper,

Dressing in some order.

Costumes worn to parties,

Others to Halloween.

A fairy, a knight,

A vamp at night.

 

Halloween scares,

Yet births strength

For the coward who hears a knock.

“Trick or treat”.

Stares at vamp teeth.

Scared stiff, but gives candy.

Halloween surprises.

 

Memories thought.

Few hurt, others elate.

All go to the heart

On Halloween night.

The kids we meet on street

Trick or treating.

O, the season.

That's a pretty lovely shorty poem. As you mentioned in your profile that your an animator so, when I was reading this poem, I'd sketched some animations on my mind like they're singing a pretty cool song bouncing on the trees...and much more.

I liked your work. Keep writing, but i've figured out that this write's published in 2013 and I hope you'd drop some of your new stuffs soon.

Stephen, making such two wonderful reviews and sketching an animation in your mind, I wouldn't need to guess you're creative and you also have written poems.
Am glad you liked it. I'll surely keep writing. Challenges could sometimes cage you, even your gifts, but I've decided to make my challenges and victories my message to the world. So, it's been months since I posted, but I've not stopped writing. I was hoping to begin dishing them out in April, but you've passed a message to me, probably unknown to you, advising, why need I wait till April.

My pleasure. It's all good for me to read stuffs as much as I can ... So, don't mention it. Yeah, Am creative, I write poems very well ...but recently, i've started working on writing some big stuffs like #screenplays, #stories, #novels and much more. Howsoever, Eng.'s not my first lang. and which's not becoming a barrier between my success and my passion...i've signed up with the site to remove my this barrier having tips and suggestions from others on my stuffs...but here hardly the people have time to return the favor so, I've decided to leave the site, that's why I'd told you that I don't know for how long am on the site..nothing else.

Well...if you have some tips or suggestions to me to improve my "Eng." then you can give, i'd want to know if you want to give and if not then thanks for reading and replying, buddy. I really love your stuffs, i'll try to read your some more stuffs before leaving the site.
