Searching For The Soul

Searching For The Soul

A Poem by Pasquale Lorina
"

A reflective Poem

"

The Sun is bright the grass is green

Trees are in bloom their buds a flow

I walk through in peacefulness

Nor the place or the hour is quite familiar

Yet there is a sense of the soul

Hills and Meadows abound, I know where I am

The stones and the names are washed with time

The names are unknown yet honoured just the same

I walk through in peacefulness

I find the place, its known to me

The name is marked, my name but not I

I remember him so long ago

I walk with  him from this place

Side by side, two one

His name shall I bear, the soul lives on

This piece has a lot of potential. Try reading this piece out loud to yourself to help yourself improve the punctuation and flow of this piece. The imagery is alright, but further variety in word choice will help in your endeavors. Thank you for sharing
