Jill: “Do you believe in Love at first Sight?”

Jack rubs his neck. “Yeah, I’ve a perpetual case of whiplash due to it.”

Jill: “Be serious, Jack. Do you?”

Jack: “Seriously, yes. But it only lasts ‘til the next sighting.”

.   .   .

Jill mocks a frown. “You’re a fickle pickle, pal.”

Jack: “What about you? Do you believe in it?”

Jill. “No. First sight only shows you a person’s face, not who they are.”

Jack: “Our face is who we are.”

.   .   .

Jill: “That’s really shallow of you, Jack. Certainly they are two different things.”

Jack. “Not really, and I can prove it. Close your eyes.”

Jill: “ … Close my eyes? Alright.” She shuts her eyes tight. “Now what?”

Jack: “Think of a friend and tell me what you see--their face, or who they are?”
