While We're Here

While We're Here

A Poem by Dylan Macadham
"

A Poem in 12 lines

"

The secret of long life

is not to worry,

Yet what's better than worry,

to prolong our strife?

In Peace of mind,

our years will fly,

And before we're ready,

It will be time to die.

the answer of course,

is crystal clear,

To be happy as we can,

while we're still here.

I do love the brief and pithy ones. Peace of mind is certainly better than worry, and will definitely make our sojourn here more pleasant. I think I'll send a copy of this one to the IRS with suggestions as to how they might increase my POM.
