Failure's Comfort~2

Failure's Comfort~2

A Poem by Dylan Macadham
"

A Contrarian's Poem in 12 lines

"

If Failure is the best teacher,

as it seems you all agree,

then a teacher of What?

asks little old me.

For if winning is key,

in whatever form you see,

Would not Success be your teacher,

the best there can be?

.   .   .

Failing, as a path to succeed,

is a myth, I beg to plea,

and surely mythes the point,

almost entire-leee!

Ha ha. Success is wonderful I do agree, but little old me ain't perfick. I make mistakes, just like most other people. Mistakes are the same as failures in my book. If things don't go to plan, I have a tendency to ask why. Could I have done it better and if so, learn from it :) On the few occasions I get things right, I just smile. Not a smug smile I might add, just a modest one. I like your poem. I would call it a success. You should gain some comfort in that :)
