Optimists & Fools

Optimists & Fools

A Poem by Dylan Macadham
"

A Practical Poem in 12 lines

"

An optimist a dreamer,

a pessimist a fool,

an in-betweenist a schemer,

 a neitherist a tool.

Me, I’m bi-ist, I see it both ways,

optimist by nature,

pessimist by nurture,

a bane of dog days.

No matter my path,

no matter the source,

my ist does the math,

 and alters my course.

A fun poem. Love your opening stanza. I guess I am a dreamer by nature. That appears to be preferable to the other options. I can't be a schemer, a fool, or a tool. And as for maths, don't mention me and maths in the same sentence.
