Pope Smoke ... !

A Poem by Dylan Macadham
"

A Seagull family,
Father, Mother and chick,
perch on ancient
roof tiles,
waiting patiently
at
the Sistine smokestack.

White Smoke bellows!

Cheers erupt in St. Peter's Square!

...Hopeful Signs
in a World gone Mad ...
... ?
____________

Pope Leo XIV
An American.
Take that Donald!

Popemobile, pope-on-a-rope soap and now pope smoke they keep adding to the Vatican gift shop. Does it really matter who holds that office? Because the more they say change, the more everything stays the same. Great writing, my friend.
