The Breakthrough

The Breakthrough

A Poem by Silent Mystery

Through the years or duration of my poetry

It seems that my poetry focused on an imprisoned me

It seems that it focused on a breakthrough

But what happens when I hit hat breakthrough

What happens to my poetry then

It my explanation to what’s been happening

I experienced a breakthrough

You hear that I experienced a breakthrough

A break from finally what seem to never come

A break from my incarcerated life that seemed so glum

Away from anything that caused stress

Away from it all so I could live for less

So with this breakthrough I press on by

Came with a price to pay dearly with my life

Because I lived through this

My writings, my poetry was given death’s fatal kiss

Death by the name of survival throughout the years

Death in the name of no more tears

The inevitable death, the marvelous breakthrough

The most recent dilemma between the two

With the current other issues at hand

Its enough to drive me crazy man

Yeah I experienced a breakthrough

Now what’s do I use to fuse my inspiration to

So you ask what should it come to

I just look at you and say yeah I experienced a breakthrough
