My Friend

You are my friend,

I ask you to stop your cutting,

I ask you to stop taking drugs,

Would you please finally stop?

Out of my love for you at least,

You think no one cares about you,

You think no one loves you,

But I do,

And I always will

If you were gone,

I would lose what little strength I have gained,

From my past life,

So please my one true friend,

Do not leave me!

I will fade away,

I want you to stay,

I want you to live,

I may sound selfish,

But if it keeps you, My Friend alive

Then so be it!
